Can't Sync Music. Very frustrating.

I use windows, and I am unable to sync music between link and my phone. Link connects my z10, both wirelessly and through cable, but everytime I drag and drop, it says 'connection error' on bottom of the screen. I've updated link, reinstalled, but still nothing. There must be a simple solution that I am bnot seeing.
