Error Message when updating Blackberry link

Unable to move forward  applications is terminated after receiving the following message.

Tunmgr.exe -Application error

The instruction at “0x7c919af2” reference memory at 0x00000010”.  The memory could not be “written”.

 

Please advise.

Hi and Welcome to the Community!

Please try fully removing the existing installation of Link. Then please download a new copy and try installing that from scratch. Please insert into the process plenty of computer reboots -- not just "restarts", but please use full shut down and then a true cold reboot of the PC.

Also be sure you are using an account on the computer that has admin rights, and also perhaps try using "Run As Admin" for the installation. Also try using the actual Admin account if your account is not that.
