Link does not transfer data to new Z10

Just received my new Z10.

My old Curve 9800 is working fine.

Installed Link.  Connected the 9800 and it created a backup file.

Connected the Z10 and it was recognized.

The backup file does show up, can be selected and it shows a size of 11.4MB

When I click on restore, it tells me it is restoring, however it only shows transferring 399k

There is no data from the old phone appearing on the Z10 after the restoration.

Am I missing something?

[ Edited ]

Methode 1 will not work as I am on BB5 not BB7

Methode 2 is EXACTLY what I followed but got zero results.

Re: Link does not transfer data to new Z10

Since the Z10 can't do such basic functions as sync Outlook, transfer the setup from the older BB or work with certain email systems, I have returned it today to Rogers and told them to shove it!

I will consider the BB 10 again once the functionality at least equals of the older units.

Having iPhone like features are nice, having the basic business functionality we are used to is a must!
