Music Sync Issues (multiple issues listed)



Following bugs in the "Music" part of BlackBerry Link (using Windows Media Player as music source)


- In the album view, old albums lurk around in the PC even when they don't exist on the PC or Q10.

- In the album view, the albums are listed using "Album + Artist" instead of the standard "Album + Album Artist". This results in individual entries for compilation albums where the album has multiple artists. Where Windows Media Player shows 1 album for a given "Album + Album Artist" combo, BlackBerry link shows multiple albums for each "Album + Artist" combo).

- The Link software on the Music player on phone seems to get confused by "Album Artist" and "Artist" tags in.

- There seems to be no way of clearing the meta-data and restarting the music sync either on the Q10 or on Link software. Album art, albums, tracks, just lurk around even when they don't exist. Even restarting the device/computer etc. doesn't seem to work.
