Organiser synch on Blackberry Link

Are there any plans for Blackberry Link to include an Organiser synch like previous BB desktop software?  The Z10 is a good smart phone, but it no longer does what a BB does best and that is manage business contacts, calenders, tasks better than other phones.

Re: Organiser synch on Blackberry Link

Hey Coopssa,

Welcome to the BlackBerry Support Community Forums.

Thanks for the question.

The new BlackBerry Link 1.0.1 does offer one way synchronization of contacts and calendar from Microsoft Outlook to the BlackBerry Z10.

This updated version can be downloaded from http://blackberry.com/blackberrylink

Let me know if you have any more questions.

Cheers.

Re: Organiser synch on Blackberry Link

Thanks ViciousFerret, is that a recent addition.  When i first got the Z10, there wasn't such a function so i went back to the Bold 9900.  I don't want to migrate to the Z10 and have the same issues.

Also, you say it is a one way synch.  From that i assume you can't synch contact changes from your device back to Outlook?

Re: Organiser synch on Blackberry Link

Hey Coopssa,

This is a new addition/version and was released yesterday.

Currently only one way synchronization is available, two-way will be available at a later date.  You can not synchronize changes from the BlackBerry Z10 to Outlook through USB.

Let me know if you have any more questions.
