Unable to sync on Z30

Since getting a Z10 last year I have not be able to sync any data from my computer to the device, although there was a connection as I was able to switch data between that and my old device and backup.  But I always got a connection error message, device drivers not found.   Last week I got a Z30.  Again I got the connection error message although it was in factory setting condition just out of the box.  But I had a connection, both by USB and wifi.  I know this because I had no problem switching data between devices and I can back up.  What I can’t do is sync docs, pictures etc.  I’ve tried dragging and dropping or clicking on copy or sync but nothing happens.  I get a message that my request has been received and will happen shortly but that’s as far as it goes. 


Any ideas on what might be going on?  I use Windows 7.
