Unable to turn on auto sync using link for windows

When trying to select files to auto sync, I am unable to check the boxes. What can be causing this and how can I fix?

Which type of files are you trying to synchronize automatically? Media files or organizer data from Microsoft Outlook? Are you able to manually sync these files with the automatic sync check box not selected?

I am try to auto sync photos, music and files from the Z10 to the computer. In Link, I am able to to right click the media and sync manually however unable to check the boxes for auto sync.
