Re: 10.2 update

Did you try it with the SIM card removed, per the instructions here?

How to Reload your Blackberry10 OS

I don't know offhand, but has Giffgaff told you they have released the 10.2 update?

Re: 10.2 update

You can restore your phone to factory settings if you wish to see if it corrects

your issue. Resetting to factory settings will wipe out all your data so you

should save it first. To save all your stuff download and install BlackBerry Link

on your computer from the link below. Resetting will not back-up the OS on your

phone. Once you have downloaded and installed BlackBerry Link connect your phone

to your computer and save your stuff. Once saved disconnect your phone from the

computer.

http://btsc.webapps.blackberry.com/btsc/viewdocument.do?externalId=KB34045&sliceId=2&cmd=displayKC&d...

To restore your phone: tap the Settings App, scroll down and tap Security and

Privacy, tap Security Wipe, tap the blank box and enter blackberry.

Once Wiped reconnect your phone to your computer and install your stuff.

Then try to update again.

If you do not mind loosing your data just do the: "To restore your phone" part.

fyip, that is offtopic and quite honestly, BAD advice to this user.
He hasn't stated that he's having any issue which requires or suggests a wipe to factory settings. What you are telling him to do will DELETE all information from his BlackBerry, and you're not even sugges

Re: 10.2 update

Just tried it without the sim, didn't work, still says I have the latest software. Giffgaff said o2 haven't shared it with them yet and o2 said it's nothing to do with them.. :/

Re: 10.2 update

Ah.

So your choice may only be to perform the upgrade manually. It's not difficult at all, it's the way I do my upgrades each time.

Complete and detailed instructons are in this thread here:  Upgrading OS10 devices using Autoloader

Re: 10.2 update

JSanders, I understood a different way, he said giffgaff had no clue why he could not update and that he tried 3 ways and failed. That to me seemed a issue with his phone. I guess he should have said giffgaff told him there was no 10.2 yet.  My post told him to save his data. I guess I misunderstood, thanks for pointing that out.

Re: 10.2 update

Still, bad advice when there are other options he needs to first attempt.

The issue is that Giffgaff hasn't released the upgrade. Wiping and restoring will do nothing for that.
