After Software Update: BB World crashes

Updated to software release 10.1.0.4181 (OS version 10.1.0.4633). Now BlackBerry World crashes immediately after opening it. It opens the application and .x seconds later the screen disappears. Doesn't even really "load" the application.

 

Problem after problem with BB software. Getting tiresome...

Hello. No, I had no issues with Blackberry World before the update.

Why don't you delete it and try to reinstall it ? try this using your BlackBerry browser, go to www.blackberry.com/appworld

Try that method if not you can go back to your previous OS.

Thanks. Unfortunately, that didn't work. Going to said website starts the app and it crashes right away. I'm not aware of any method to delete BB World. Going back to the previous software release isn't really an option as I had more problems with it (no mms, battery life etc.).

sorry to hear.

Its your carrier that pushes out the OS updates.

Did you want try to reload your previous OS to get your BB app world back and lets try to figure out how we can help you out with your battery problems, there are many tips I can suggest

Sorry for the late reply!
I still got the problem mentioned above and I was thinking to do what you said. However, I don't trust the BB Link sync (on Mac).
I have some extremely important text messages I can't lose.


Do you know how I can check if everything got sync'd?

(I don't care about all the settings, I just need to keep the text messages).
