Bbm not working on my data plan

Blackberry z10 bbm; Please my Bbm isn't working; it works when I'm connected on my wifi but as soon as I disconnect to use my regular data plan on it, it stops. Every other thing works, I can surf be web, I can browse but no Bbm. When I send a message I get the red block sign. What do I do

Have you yet tried the usual fixes...shut down, reboot, batt-pull? That as well as contacting Etisalat to see if they have perhaps changed something on the back-end?

Hey. I had the same problem. It turned out my carrier didn't update their system to allow for the BB service to work without the old subscription fee payment thing (which is supposed to be abandoned for the subscription fee-less BB service).

As such, you have to call them and have them give you credit and/or activate the old BB subscription until they sort themselves out.

Hi, i have the same problem and my carrier is not yet offering the z10, so they do not know why i cant use it. So any additional info on how to solve with carrier is appreciated. What do you mean by activating the old system of payment.
