Re: BlackBerry 10.2 OS Begins Roll Out

Got the upgrade yesterday.
I tried the leaked before and for now, I can't have any complaints.
As for whatsapp, just delete and reinstall the app. Simple.
My contacts are presenting xlnt. Love all new features; the easy access when locked, the idea of flight mode, as an option, when turning to bedside is marvelous.
Of course apk install gives a real push.
Try it, you'll love it.
But please, get the outlook task to sync. with the terminal !!!!

b. A number of emails can't be read as it says "Message body could not be downloaded".  What use is a Blackberry if I can't read most of my emails?

After any OS upgrade on a BB10 device, it will take 48-72 hours for the device data syncing of email, contacts, social apps, etc., to complete and finish. High data transfer after an upgrade cause high processor use, which in turn causes high battery usage. Likewise, high processor use will cause some lag and initial slowness. Ignore and and be patient. It can take the 48 hours for all contacts to sync back to the device. And, the battery will recover after a few days. Just don't drain your battery to 10% or less each time, top off the charge. You'll notice a difference after a couple days.

I don't think you will see that any time soon.

Re: BlackBerry 10.2 OS Begins Roll Out

Bad news - It seems meeting invites still show the GMT time zone. Can't figure it out - my last 3 Blackberry devices never had this problem. The download error "Message body could not be downloaded" still persists for some emails and it's been 48hrs since the update.

I'm seeing the same issue at times, and am about to troubleshoot a couple of things in an attempt to resolve it.

I'll update.

Re: BlackBerry 10.2 OS Begins Roll Out

Hi, I have an unlocked z10 with my company Vodafone sim inserted. I have not had the update come through yet, I have tried to push it through via the software updates menu with no joy.

Any ideas how I can get this updated?

Vodafone for some odd reason has not yet released the upgrade.

You can installed the leaked, exact same version file, if you need help with that, just say so.

JSanders - any resolution for the "Message body could not be downloaded" issue? Much appreciated.
