BlackBerry ID across multiple devices

Hello,

Currently my BlackBerry ID is associated with a BB 7.1 device and my BB PlayBook. I'm thinking about acquring a BB10 device. Will my BlackBerry ID be unlinked from my BB 7.1 (and hopefully not my BB PlayBook) if I choose to use it with my BB10?

Thanks,

gajariam

Re: BlackBerry ID across multiple devices

Yes, you should unlink your BBID from the older device, so that BBM and AppWorld are fully connected to the new BB10 device. It can stay connected to your PlayBook without any issue.

You can stay connected to the app world one BB10 device, one BBOS (5,6,7 or 7.1) device and one PlayBook simulataneously and on BBM on only one device.

While you may be able to use the app world on your BBOS, BB10 and PlayBook simulataneously with the same ID, you will not be able to use BBM on your 7.1 device if you switch to BB10.

Re: BlackBerry ID across multiple devices

I didn't have BBM on BB7.1 because I did not have a data plan.

I'd like to continue without a data plan, will I be able to use BBM on BB10 without a data plan and just over Wi-Fi?

Thanks,
