Calendar exchange sync problem

I have the Z10 latest software. I have active sync set up with my email host and BB active sync. This only syncs 3 months worth of calendar items - the email support does not know why this should be. They are using Microsoft Exchange 2010 SP2. Any ideas on this? The calendar in Outlook is synced properly with exchange and goes back 13 years but not visible on the Z10

A helpful member suggested that it was a server side setting. But the server is set to sync all. So I still have the calendar only syncing backwards 3 months - and there is no settting on the Z10 that can override this that I can find. I see from another forum that there is an issue with CalDav which may be the problem, but I do not really understand this
