Re: Checking For OS Updates ... My New Hobby

I have a feeling this update was going to be interesting, so I did screen captures as it progressed ... note file sizes in each update showing the file size for each of the 3, and the face that the version is always the same.

Re: Checking For OS Updates ... My New Hobby

The 10.0.10.85 version was released on Bell this morning.

I updated mine, and also had multiple installs.

The first was 144MB, then I checked for updates, and it prompted with the same version, but 17MB, then again after that one with 12MB.

It did fix a personal side 'encryption' issue atleast.

Re: Checking For OS Updates ... My New Hobby

I'm too checking for OS update every day! In the setting menu there's an option to check for updates but I don't think it works. I thought it will be like Android whr if they say there's an update, then it will update. Here, I've heard so many Os updates but I can't update it myself using that menu without having to check with my provider. If I do an update myself it will be at my own risk! Aaarghh... it's frustrating...

Also, it seems there's a bug in my personal dictionary, as I can not add any words. Plus my z10 battery and camera sucks! Battery last only for about 6 hrs. Plus all the above mentioned missing features and many more.. true shame!

After using Android and now BlackBerry, I want to laugh at BlackBerry for believing that they have new innovations and made some improvements. BlackBerry really needs to understand the true meaning of innovations and improvements! Because, clearly, z10 is no improvements or have anything new... in contrary, it lacks useful features from old device.

I do however, like the browser and....... that's it unfortunately.. :s
