Hello,

BB10 is a revolutionary change from prior. BB10 no longer requires BIS as BB10 has an on-device ActiveSync email client, and so BIS is no longer required as the email (and, where compatible, contacts/calendar) interface. On some carriers, it's been reported that having BIS attached to an account actually prevents a BB10 device from functioning properly. You need to talk to your mobile service provider to be certain how it should work on their network.

Good luck!
