Well, run the autoloader and don't install the patch.

Re: Critical Update for OS 10.2.1.3175 to 10.2.1.3247

Hi,

I've just installed the autoloader 10.2.1.3175 and the both sensors (proximity and light) dont work... I'm wondering if this could be an hardware problem?

It could be.  Download the BB Virtual Expert from BBWorld and use that to test the proximity sensors.

Re: Critical Update for OS 10.2.1.3175 to 10.2.1.3247

I use BBVE to test both sensors. The thing is that sometimes the sensor workss and others it doesn't. For example, this morning after the AUTOLOADER it didn´t work, but after the secutity wipe it DID work. Later I didn't apply the patch but did restored parcialy the backup (without the settings). Now it's Off again. I'm going to do Autoloader again + Secutity wipe and leave for a while to test it, onde more.

Anyway, big thanks for your help.

Try it for a while without restoring ANY backup files.

Re: Critical Update for OS 10.2.1.3175 to 10.2.1.3247

I've just come reinstall with AUTOLOADER + Security Wipe without restoring any backup or patch... but this time the sensor doesn't work at all...

Hardware malfunction? Should I try with a previous AUTOLOADER package version or it's no use?

Best regards,

Emanuel

You could try a previous autoloader. However, I think it's pretty evident that you are experiencing a hardware failure of the proximity sensor. I would contact your carrier for warranty resolution.

Re: Critical Update for OS 10.2.1.3175 to 10.2.1.3247

Hi All

I have just updated my Z10 to 10.2.1.3247.

Is there anyone who is experiencing any issues with their Word Subtitution within this new version?

Re: Critical Update for OS 10.2.1.3175 to 10.2.1.3247

Hi,

I haven't noticed a Word Substitution issue, and all my sensors are functioning, but my Z10 (STL100-3) battery drains very fast after updating to 10.2.1.3247, dropping about 10%-12% per hour with very light usage.  I used to go almost a day-and-a-half without charging prior to the 10.2.1.3247 update.

Anyone else experiencing this?
