Sorry to hear you're having an issue with your BlackBerry Q10.
Does this only happen when you search for an email then forward it?
If you were to take any email (from the list and not by searching) and forward it, does this same keyboard freeze seem to occur?
Do you have a personal email account added? If so, if you were to search in your personal email then go to forward an email does the keyboard freeze?

This has happened to me a few times too. The only way I was able to resolve this was by doing a restart (as I couldn't wait for the device to start coperating in order to reply to my emails).

this happens to me about 4 times a day. I have to sit and wait to get my keyboard back.
it also locks up my use of the address bar in teh browser and Contact list, but sometimesit lets me use the keyboard within a webpage if I access it from a bookmark

To clarify, your keyboard is freezing when you attempt to search for an email as well or does your keyboard freeze in other applications?
What is the software version of your device under Settings>About>OS?

It froze is almost all (possibly "all") native Blackberry applications. The only thing I could do for sure was use a text box in brower.
Since I upgrade to 10.1 this weekend it hasn't happened.
If it does again, I'll get back to you.
