Well, I just bought my Z10 with some old OS (10.0 and don't remember what exactly next). When I switched it on, it said new ver OS 10.2.1.2102 found. So it was downloaded, then installed, then message about Z10 needs to restart appears and I pressed "Restart now". From that point things became run bad: it's 2 hours ago since I pressed "restart" and nothing happens: window with message "Software update complete. Preparing to restart" that's only I have. I don't know what to do, because I'm afraid to brick my smart.
Please help somebody!!!

Obviously, something in the OS has gone wonky. Start by pressing and holding your up and down volume buttons simultaneously for 20 seconds. Don't let go of either one before you see the BlackBerry name appear on the screen. If that doesn't resolve the issue, go ahead and remove your battery while your phone is powered on then replace it a few seconds later.
Let us know if that helps you.

Actually, You a little bit late. Solution was take a deep breath , switch off charger then pull out battery. After battery reconnect everything walk its way.
I think it was because smart screwed up after really big update (1,1 Gb).
