Not getting the Software update 10.0.10

im not getting the update. it says that i have the latest software (which is 10.0.9.2372) what should I do ?

 

 

 

If I go to the phone it wont allow me to update it.. look at my screenshot. and when I plugin the phone to the computer (via Blackberry Link) it doesnt even let me backup/update.. look at the file below.. Computer detects my phone but it doesnt even backup my file.

 

 

BTW I live in Sri Lanka and there are no network provider has got down the z10

Are you on a SIM card to an official Z10 carrier at this point?

Has your network released the Z10? If not, you won't be pushed the notification to upgrade.

 

You can wait, or you can:

  1. Backup your Z10 to your Link software
  2. Disconnect the Z10 from your USB connection to the PC and close Link.
  3. Open the rear of the Z10 and remove the SIM card (not the media card).
  4. Open a PC browser and reconnect the Z10 to your PC.
  5. In the PC browser, type in the URL: www.blackberry.com/upgrades
  6. Scroll down and click on Check for Upgrades.
  7. If the Z10 is recognized, and there is an update available for you, you will be asked if you want to upgrade.
  8. Proceed with the upgrade, could take anywhere from one to two hours according to your device data, etc., and data speed.
  9. After complete, you can restore data back to your Z10 from the Link software > Restore.

How very strange
I tried all the above and my updated version was 10.0.9.2372 and now it says no more update.

Another issue which I noticed during this process that without the simple, the hot spot option shows up under network settings bit with the sun card in, it doesn't

Not so strange at all..

Mobilink has not released the upgrade.

and, Mobilink does not allow the mobile hotspot feature, SUN probably does.

Appreciate the reply back Sanders. You're right mobilink has not released it. Their excuse is that the update has too many bugs for their liking, what a liberty
