I agree it is a different problem but may have similar roots. If we could only get some techs from BlackBerry to look at that!

They're all probably more concerned with the pending layoffs.

But to keep beating the deleted, dead horse, anyone have any new ideas?

anyone with a ton of spare time able to consistantly re-create the deletion problem?

Re: OMG! My Q10 has just deleted all my emails and text messages!!

This has happened to me three times in the last two months. All email and texts just disappear for no reason I can discern. I am using software release 10.1.0.2030' OS version 10.1.0.2121. Are we convinced that BB just doesn't care any more? Any suggestions out there for a smartphone with a real keyboard? It pains me to even ask, as I have had nothing but BB since 1998.

Abr- i am convinced BlackBerry doesn't care.
And if I may add specifics to your query about best phone with a physical keyboard, what is the best phone with a physical keyboard that won't permanently erase your email from existence?

I'd be willing to bet Rat-7 hasn't experienced this issue, yet.

Re: OMG! My Q10 has just deleted all my emails and text messages!!

I don't think they don't care. I think they just can't write software to save their lives, or more literally their jobs and their company. I tried their twitter help option. It takes a long time to get a reply but all they asked is what software version I had. I suspect they were hoping to stall me with an update but then when I had the most updated version they had nothing to offer and I didn't hear any more from them.

Have you called your Verizon tech support and asked them to escalate this issue for you to BlackBerry technical support?

Remember, you're paying VZW for tech support for this device, software and service. They will bump the issue up, and as you can read in this thread stated many times already, that's how you get 'official' support. Ignore those users here who have not done the same. Just do it yourself. Get an incident number and BlackBerry will see you through the issue.

good luck.

Canada has laws making it a crime to lose emails? Wow.
