Old Facebook Messages Restored with OS Updates

With every OS update (since I purchased my Q10), all goes smoothly except that my historical (previously deleted) facebook messages/notifications come flooding back into my Hub - read and unread, they all come back.  Any suggestions on how I can resolve this issue?

Re: Old Facebook Messages Restored with OS Updates

Is is yes. But I want them to appear in the HUB the first time. What I don't want is for them to come back after they've been deleted from the HUB when I do an OS update - 6 motnths od old FB messages is rather annoying to redelete

Re: Old Facebook Messages Restored with OS Updates

Your device is just syncing with all your emails, contacts and apps since OS update. Log out from your FB app and reboot your device. When it's on, connect to wall charger and remove the battery. Leave it for 20 minutes. It will resolve some apps error and incorrect battery meter. You may need to do this reboot within one or two days. Now login to FB app again.

It's quite weird, never happened to me.

Good luck.
