Your BlackBerry Z10 Smartphone does have a pop-up blocking setting in the browser. Open the "Settings" of the Browser, tap on "Privacy and Security", and tap on "Block Pop-ups" to enable or disable this feature.
Hopefully this helps restore your desired functionality in the browser.
