this problem has been menacing, and it has really affected workers like us. i found a solution which requires you to manually edit your contacts. you need to store the number of your contact twice, one with the country code, the other with (0) starting it. For example if Joe's mobile number is: 08012345678, you need to create a duplicate with with the country code, that means you have Joe's work number as +2348012345678 (being that i am from Nigeria). This will allow you know if Joe calls or texts you. Thank me Later

Hi... I am a Blackberry Q10 user, has been using Blackberry for about 5 years, starting with 8707 then moving to Bold 9000 then to 9700 and to 9780 and now have been using Q10 for about 3 months now.
Contact list has always been an issue with my Blackberry. With my 9000, 9700 and 9780 the issue was with unknown contact list that can not be sync nor can it be deleted, making some contacts into double entries. I gave up my 9780 for Q10 because of that.
And now with the Q10, the problem is worst. My contact list was merged or saved into a totally unrelated contact. Making my contact list into a mess. I check the web and found others with the same complain, so it must be a blackberry issue. But there seems to be no solution available. I am very confuse and upset with the situation. I love the Q10, it is a sleek and beautiful handset, but it has some serious software issue. I am on the verge of giving up Blackberry altogether. Unless there is a solution to the problem, then I will have to make do with BBM or Whatsapp on my Android.
Please give a solution.

Was this particular problem ever solved?
Does anyone know how many contacts I can have in my contacts list before it breaks? Are there contact list limits like there used to be in the bad old days?
Is 1500 too many contacts ( say with one or two numbers each?)
