Q10 and BB WS-430 Headset Not Working

Hi...

 

I have a Q10 on AT&T running BB10 OS Version 10.2.1.2141, which I've tried to get working with the BlackBerry WS-430 premium wired headset (link is below) with no real luck.  Sound comes out of the headset but the volume buttons don't work, the play/pause button doesn't work, and there's not skip forward and back. 

 

Is my headset faulty OR are other people have the same issue?

I dont have this issue on my set Smiley Happy

 

But my OS is different from yours
