SMS Text Issue

I just got the Q10 phone the other day and after set-up SMS texting didn't work.  Worked with AT&T and eventually got a new phone.  Texting worked in the store.  Came home set-up email again and transferred contacts via Link from old 8800 to new Q10.  No problems.  During this process I also updated the software on the Q10 to


This morning I go to try and send a text and all I get is the red clock and they do not go.  I also cannot receive texts.


I don't want to get another phone. How can I go back to the original software version where the texting worked?

Actually, what I recommend you do is contact ATT again for formal support. SMS texting is a basic voice-level function, not dependent on the data-level services at all. Consequently, ATT is your best source to find out why it is not working for you. If they pushed out the OS update you performed, then they remain fully responsible for delivery to you of all services for which you pay them.
