Screen Lock

My Z10 phone access is locked out. I have been using the same password for 1 month with no issues. Now it will not unlock and I am at 9/10 tries. I do not want to lose / wipe phone which is what I believe will happen if I try again and fail?

Is there a way to reset password or even back up current info prior to trying a 10th time and possibly failing to unlock?

Surely there must be a solution out there to overide the screen lock?

Re: Screen Lock

What happens when you try and backup in BlackBerry Link? Does it require a password? You MIGHT be able to have a go at backing up and it won't use your password attempt.

I'm afraid, this is how the device is secure though. By design, there's no way around it if you get the password wrong.

So did you solve it somehow?
