Text entering LAGS on 10.2

After updating from 10.1 MR to 10.2 I am suffering from extreme lags when I am enetering text to text field (BBM, SMS, Whatsapp but email works fine).

Tried to clean learnt words but problem still persists.

Only solution for me is reboot which hels for like 2-3 hours and than its same...

Any ideas?

When did you update to 10.2?

Re: Text entering LAGS on 10.2

Yesterday morning.

I think that "settle down" process has nothing to do with it because when I check Process monitor it shows low CPU usage and also found that some users had same problem on 10.2.0.1xxx leaks.

[ Edited ]

So, then...I dont really understand two things:

1)

I have Q10 and Q5 and both were updated same day, almost same time running same carrier and on Q5 I dont have this problem and everything runs very smooth.

2)

Why is this "solved" after reboot and after some time (and lot of BBM and SMS messages sent) it ends same - with massive lags? Rather, it appears that some stack overflows, database error or something like that :-/

What OS upgrade did you install on the Q10?

Re: Text entering LAGS on 10.2

OK. Sorry, I can't help you then.

If, after a couple more days pass... Monday perhaps, the lag on SMS remains, please post back.

If you find another solution before then, please proceed. I am just speaking from my own personal experience (well, and a dozen others) who have learned to ignore any lag and slowness for the first 48-72 hours while the new OS settles in. I know that might sound unlikely and not the cause of your own, but I can specifically say I've seen the very same with my own BB10 devices. When I upgrade my Z10 and Q10, my Z10 has the SMS lag, my Q10 does not.

Re: Text entering LAGS on 10.2

I installed same OS on top the old one via sachesi and so far so good.

Maybe orginal update was corrupted in same way.

Re: Text entering LAGS on 10.2

Be sure to check the Radio version vs. the OS version.

Settings > About > Hardware.

The Radio version should be one digit higher than the software version
