Trying to add email accounts

I can't seem to add email accounts and keep receiving an error message that the server cannot be reached. I have been told by my email provider I should use IMAP settings but none of the port number combinations work. Any ideas?

When adding an email account, just try to provide the email adress and password and then just let the wizzard find the settings for the server, in most case the wizard will find the correct settings and i works from there

I've tried that and receive an error message that my email and password are incorrect? I've even tried changing my password on the host site...

Jodium, do you have data plan from GiffGaff for this device?

Check with GiffGaff that you have a generic data plan, not the old BlackBerry specific data plan.

 

At the upper right corner of your homescreen, by the signal indicator bars, do you see the BlackBerry logo?

Yes it's only a generic plan - Blackberry add ons aren't need for the 10 series.

 

My phone shows the Blackberry symbol in the top right hand corner.

 

I had previously been able to add two accounts to my phone but cannot seem to add them again.

What else have you done, save the back and forth asking, etc.?
