I have 100Mbps cable broadband and the router is set to 2.4 and 5mhz. On my son's iphone he can get up to 90Mbps speed but the Blackberry Z10 shows that I am limited to just 65 Mbps (as shown in the wifi connection information on the device). On speed test the best speed achieved is just 40Mbps, which is poor in comparison.
Is there any way to free up the Z10 to allow for unlimited connection speeds? This seems to be a good reason for not buying a Z10. Unless there a a fix this will be the last Blackberry I buy and I will certainly not be recommending to others.

I would guess that is the max. The one I saw disassembled, they had listed it as having a wl1273l rf module. Provided that is correct, max data rate for that module would be 65000kbps. So I would expect 40-50Mbps in the real world.
