Yahoo delete behavior

Q10, T-Mobile, 10.1.0.273

Yahoo emails deleted (intentionally) via Q10 simply disappear from Yahoo webmail.

Is this by design? Certainly not a user-friendly choice if so... Seems like a bug to me.

Delete from iPhone, they go to the Trash folder in webmail.

Enterprise account behaves as expected - delete from Q10, they goto Outlook's Deleted Items folder.

Re: Yahoo delete behavior

Hello!

Here is a KB that discusses that error:

  • KB33560 Email messages deleted from the BlackBerry 10 smartphone are not moved to a Trash or Deleted Items folder and instead are permanently removed

Hopefully it contains something useful! Hopefully they are working on a fix for a future release.

Good luck and let us know!
