Z10 STL100-2 UNLOCKED  10.0.09.2732 --> IMPOSSIBLE TO UPGRADE

I live in Spain:I bought an unlocked Z10 (Expansys) almost 800$

I work with a MOVISTAR SIM no luck.... OTA no!!!. I bought a vodafone sim NO LUCK always appear "you have the latest software for your device" ---> It is no true.

 

NOW: Z10 OS: 10.0.9.2732. I cant install nor Whatsapp nor manage multiple google calendar with this release i NEED NOW, TODAY to have the latest RELEASE. When we call to our carrier MOVISTAR or VODAFONE they (Spain it is Africa) dont now how to help us ... the say they HAVENT this software.

 

I think Blackberry must be careful with the good clients who spend almost 800$ for an OLD (many bugs) OS. 10.0.9.2732.

 

ALL FAIL

I tried to upgrade to 10.0.10.90 (648) without result. I tried with OTA !!

I tried without SIM. I tried in WIN in MAC .. --> blackberry.com/updates   I tried inside Blackberry Link

Try this:

 

 

  1. Disconnect the Z10 from your USB connection to the PC and close Link.
  2. Open the rear of the Z10 and remove the SIM card (not the media card).
  3. Open a PC browser and reconnect the Z10 to your PC.
  4. In the PC browser, type in the URL: www.blackberry.com/updates
  5. Scroll down and click on Check for Upgrades. **If your Z10 is off at this point, now try pressing and holding the top edge power button for 10 seconds to power up the Z10, or to allow the desktop to recognize the Z10 is connected.
  6. If the Z10 is recognized, and there is an update available for you, you will be asked if you want to upgrade.
  7. Proceed with the upgrade, could take anywhere from one to two hours according to your device data, etc., and data speed.

Thanks for your help, but it is no enough ... FAIL!!  "there are NO upgrades" for my Z10 (10.0.9.2732) ¿?.

same here device is not updating the 10.10. its from canada...

Try following the directions posted above. There is no need to repost them

I'm on etisalat in uae can it be upgraded or no?? If yes pls give the steps

Both of you please go to your Settings > Location Services and disable your Location Services. Then Gain attempt the upgrade following my instructions above exactly as posted with the sim card removed. Let us know your results.

Same story here ,i did all mentioned above , disabled location, update for 10.0.09.328, which is same as in the phone 10.0.09.2732. Any action from RIM for unlocked phones for over 500 pounds ????????

it is complete frustration  for me , blackberry pearl, blackberry torch,  blackberry 9900, playbook, z10-  all unlocked devises, i guess the update must be pushed to device by RIM
