Re: Z10 battery

It's a fair point. What's a good channel for some real troubleshooting?

Re: Z10 battery

Try this a couple of times over the next few days...

While charging the Z10, and connected to the OEM wall charger, remove the battery and reinsert to reboot.

This is will often reset or recalibrate the 'on-device' battery meter of the Z10, to read more accurately the actual power reading of the battery.

Do that the next couple of days.

Re: Z10 battery

Have you read the post I sent? Is there anything more you can do based on that information?

Re: Z10 battery

I read the crackberry tips on extending battery life long ago and have adopted everything except downgrading the network (disabling LTE), which they recommend only if you're desperate.  I did try taking LTE out of the mix yesterday and that seemed to make a marked improvement.

Re: Z10 battery

I've done that and it seems to get my battery into a state where the battery tops out at the amount of charge it had at the time of the removal. In an earlier post you had recommended taking the battery out at 15% charge, and that got me to the situation where the battery only supported 10-20 minutes of life before crashing the phone. I am kinda worried that this may have damaged my battery and led to the inability to get me through the morning without charging the Z10. What do you think? Do I just buy a new battery and start over?

Re: Z10 battery

1. I would recommend not letting the battery fall below 10-15% charge constantly... now and then doesn't matter. Don't do it constantly with each charge.

2. I keep an extra battery handly, check out of the battery bundle with charger in Amazon.
