new bbz10 10.2.0.424 update

Since upgrading and installing the the new 10.2.0.424 update I have Nt been able to access, view or create a text message, I've tried turning the phone off and back to which another update pops back up every time even when I've installed it again, once the device turns back on after installation it re appears. I've taken the phone to a shop and said that it's not the phone but the soft wear and that vi had to get into touch with blackberry to fix the problem. I also didn't manage to create a backup of my old version of blackberry before the upgrade what can I do. Ive tried restoring to factory setting twice with no avail. What else can be done. I'm on contract with this for the next 24 months Smiley Sad and I'd like to enjoy all aspects of my phone again. Please someone help me.

You have installed the version 10.2.0.424?
Or want to have that version above.

That problem comes with the version you have currently installed

I recently installed it and that's the problem I'm left with now no access to text messages, viewing them or creating them. And if that problem occurs with the update surly it shouldn't be allowed to be classed as an upgrade if it doesn't improve anything as I'm now stuck for 24 months with a phone that doesn't completely work I depend very much on being able to text people. If you could I'd be very grateful.

I recommend making an OS reload your z10

 

Connect your z10 and run BBLink
Then go to preference and press the reload option software

Let the process do all your work, and then you start setting your BB
And load your backup.

And let us know if your problem evidences the persistence.

 

You must have the latest version of the BlackBerry Link installed

I've just had the same issue and it's driving me mental not being able to send sms OR recieve a notification tone... It's like the sms icon is totally vanished from my hub all together.

Have you found a solution ? did the above advice work ?
