unopened emails hung on phone.

Hello,

I have several emails from my BES 10 account at work which I cannot delete from the handset. In all cases these are emails which I moved from the inbox directly to a folder located on my office PC without opening.

The email still shows as unread but when I try to mark it as read the status remains unchanged. It will also not let me open it.

I have the latest updates to BB10 loaded. I am on the Rogers Network.

Hi stickboy_shawn ,

 

Is the folder(s) you are moving these messages to one that has folder redirection enabled? Can you please try moving one or more of the affected messages back into your inbox on the computer, and testing to see if you are then able to modify or open the messages? This should tell us if the issue is related to Message IDs. Please let me know the results.

my phone keeps going off and on , i have bought a new battery its same story, pls what can i do

Hi FrankieS,

The folder is in a pst file on my local PC hard drive. When I move the message back in to my in box, two of the message appear on the BlackBerry. The original is not open able. When I moved the message back the original still remains. The pst file is not located on the LAN. Once moved back, the "New" file can be changed.


Not sure if the folder is redirectable.
