Is the folder(s) you are moving these messages to one that has folder redirection enabled? Can you please try moving one or more of the affected messages back into your inbox on the computer, and testing to see if you are then able to modify or open the messages? This should tell us if the issue is related to Message IDs. Please let me know the results.
