8900, OS and BES Policy (OTA)

[ Edited ]

A user discovered a bug in the calendar in french using a 8900 / firmware.

Instead of may-june-july you have may-july-july...pretty annoying and so confusing.

SO i decided to upgrade 5 of my BES users to the latest official firmware.

After upgrading, i assigned them a "OTA-install-allowed" policy like usual to install 2 apps : 1 from our carrier (Orange FR) is a  GPS Navigation soft, and Google Maps.

Then i assigned them the "OTA-no-install-allowed" policy again and the device asked for rebooting because it had one app that didn't match the policy...

Device rebooted, both of the apps have disappeared. Retried, same result.

This never happened before, these policies habe been there for a long time and i always used the same steps :

- upgrade -> OTA install policy -> install apps -> OTA no install

I have experienced that only once with a beta leaked OS.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
