Add Remote User Wirelessly with Server v3.6

I am trying to add a blackberry user (Curve 8330) who has no access to the network the server is on, and thus can't use the desktop software to get the PIN from the server.  It doesn't appear that there is any wireless activation option in version 3.6 unless I'm missing something.  How can I add this user?

Re: Add Remote User Wirelessly with Server v3.6

The user either needs to use Desktop Manager to activate or you need to tether them to the server and activate.

Time to upgrade to BES 4.x so you can wirelessly perform Enterprise  Activation.

OMG! There is still admins running 3.6???? Wow...

Dude, you really need to upgrade!

At least to 4.0 if not 4.1.

3.6 does not have wireless EA option and if u can't connect it to the BES via DTM, then ur pretty much screwed. Sorry mate.

Thanks for the quick responses...I was afraid of this, though.  Our company is too cheap at the moment to spend the money on an upgrade for just one user.  God knows what else I'm missing with being stuck on 3.6!

You might look to upgrade to BES Professional Express
