BB8830 World Edition Cannot Sync Contacts with BES

I cannot sync contacts to my 8830 from BES using Microsoft Exchange 2003.  I am able to sync messages and calendar without Issue.  I have tried to resend Service Book and Remove Battery from Device.  Any other suggestions?

Is wireless synchronization enabled? Go to Address Book > Options and I believe it is in General Options.

Yes, it is enabled.  I have disabled it and re-enabled it.  I have wiped the account from the BES and re-activated it.  I am at my wits end with this

Have you tried wiping the device?

What is the folder size of contacts?

If it is larger than your phones free memory then you will have issues with sync

On the device, I'd be interested in knowing if the Tasks and MemoPad are synchronizing with Outlook Tasks and Notes.   Is the Desktop[SYNC] service book present?    Is this the only device with this issue on the server, or does it affect multiple handhelds?

 

On the server, the logfiles (especially the ALRT, MAGT, and SYNC logs) are a good place to find out what is happening (or not happening) behind the scenes.

 

Does the version of MAPI32.dll on the BES match the version present in your Exchange environment?
