I've just taken over the install of a BES express server (5.04 bundle 38) running on Windows 2008 R2 - my first time looking after Blackberry... :-)
It was a bit of a fiddle getting it working with Exchange 2013, but is working correctly for the most part.
SQL Express local database.
I have one user who is travelling overseas with global roaming - he can make and receive phone calls, browse the internet and receive his hotmail email - but nothing through BES.
The user has a Blackberry 9700 v188.8.131.520 (Platform 184.108.40.206)
The last contact date for his phone in the blackberry admin service is the day he left.
Is there anything required for blackberry service apart from internet access?
I'm rockin the BlackBerry DTEK60, Passport, Z30, Z10, Q10, BlackBerry Mini Stereo Speaker, 64 gig PlayBook,BT Headset HS-700

Try a Battery pull please, with the BlackBerry device powered ON, remove the battery 15 seconds and then reinsert the battery to reboot device. This will clear all cache like rebooting a PC. Then try again and see if your problem persists.
that should update the host routing table
BESAdmin's, please make a signature with your BES environment info.
BES 12 and BES 5.0.4 with Exchange 2010 and SQL 2012 Hyper V
