BlackBerry Migration - Domino to MS Hosted BES

Hi,

Who has been part of a BlackBerry Services Migration? Any lessons learned??

We are migrating >10,000 BlackBerry Clients from Domino to Hosted MS BES (BPOS-D)

Is there a good place to look for;

1. End User communication/documentation - Migration Process, New Features, TIPs etc.

2. ServiceDesk Technical Training Material.

Many thanks,

Guru III

Re: BlackBerry Migration - Domino to MS Hosted BES

I would hope the hosted solution would have a bunch of info for you.

What version BES are you on and what are you moving to?

If on 4.1 and going to 5.0 there are a bunch of new features in 5.0.

Are all devices on latest OS?

Now would be a good time since they will most likely need to be wiped.

What your oldest syle device?

Good time to upgrade them now.

Not sure what will be needed for help desk, whats being offered from the hoster for support?
