Blackberry Enterprise 5.0 and Domino 9 compatibility

Hi Everyone,

We are using Blackberry Enterprise 5.0 SP3 at our company and are looking forward to upgrade to Domino 9 (from 8.5.3). So I would like to ask if BES 5.0 is compatible with Domino 9.

Re: Blackberry Enterprise 5.0 and Domino 9 compatibility

thanks, but there is nothing noted about Domino 9.

I saw that Domino 8.5.3 is noted as recommended and compatible (we are using this version at the moment). But I need the compatibility with Domino 9.

Re: Blackberry Enterprise 5.0 and Domino 9 compatibility

My understanding is that if it's not on the compatibility matrix, then it's not supported (Or perhaps supported by 'best endeavours' if you encounter problems)... Domino 9 may be untested or an update to BES may be required, etc, etc. The latest compatibility matrix is from March too so it's reasonably up to date.

Have a look at the forums as there's a Domino 9 Admin posted for help on a BES one way reconciliation fault.  Using 8.5 templates on the BES and as far as the post shows, it's working except from a one-way mail delete reconciliation issue...

Of course there's a difference between 'working' and 'supported'
