Blackberry device is not able to recognise any hyper link

Hi,

 

We are using Exchange 2003 and Blackberry Enterprise Edition in our environment. one user has a issue with his blackberry, the device is not able to recognise any hyper link.

 

Please help me to solve this issue.

What browser is he using? Did you try to change default browser? Is BES able to get onto the internet with that link?

Hi,

 

The user is using the default browser i.e. IE. Also he his able to send/receive email and able to browse, but the device is not recognizing the hyperlinks.

Try changing the default browser and see if your results are the same.

Sorry couldn't get you. I am working as Offshore Engineer for a project. So it's not possible to get you the update.

I have hust mailed the user. Once I get response from the user, then I will update you.

Hi,

 

I have provided the following solution to the user but no success.

 

 1. In Blackberry, goto Options --> Advanced Options --> Host routing Table --> Press Blackberry Key --> Select "Register Now"
2. Options --> Advanced Options --> Browser --> Default browser configuration --> Check whether deafult browser is configured correctly ( for Ex : if your default browser is Internet Browser it should be configured as Internet Browser)
 Please check the above options and try to access the hyperlink

 

The user is able to send/recieve mails but he is issue with the hyperlink.

 

So, the problem may with software or with browser. Please help me to get this issue reolved.
