Blocking Intranet Access

Hi all, I need your expert help please.

We have a default install of BES 4.1 and all is working well on the email front, but I've noticed that our BB users can gain access to our company Intranet when we don't really want to disclose this company sensitive information on BB's.  We want them to use the www, whether it be via the company proxy or though the cell phone providers network but want to block Intranet access.  We've not configured the BES to use proxy but it appears that local traffic finds its way onto our Intranet, very clever Smiley Happy

Does anyone know how to configure the BES to block Intranet access please? As there are several web servers on our Intranet I really need to find a solution on the BES as configuring the individual web servers is not very feasible.  Can I change the IT policy without affecting www access.  As we have a number of BB users the solution with least administrative overhead would be most preferable Smiley Happy

Thanks very much

Re: Blocking Intranet Access

If you are directing your traffic at a proxy then it is your proxy that is allowing the connections into the internal network.  You should either configured the MDS to go direct to the internet with no route to the internal network, or amend your proxy to handle traffic from the BES differently so that it cannot provide that access.
