i have a problem to deploy Apps via BES 5.0.1 to my BB devices.
When adding the application to the BES i get the following Message:
The following applications are dependent upon each other. Each of these applications can only be installed on the BlackBerry® device from a computer running either the BlackBerry® Desktop Software, BlackBerry® Web Desktop Manager or BlackBerry® Administration Software.
The application Application1 version 0.7.0 depends on Application2 version 0.7.0.
The application1 is a BB Java Library Project the application2 is a normal BlackBerry Java Project.
What does that Message mean???
After adding this apps to the BES i am able to add them to a Software Configuration.
I´m also able to add that software configuration to a BB User or Group
No deployment Jobs are created :-(
Has anybody any tips for me?
Thanks a lot and Best Regards

...can't imagine that deployment of apps with dependencies won't work thru BES,
because esp. enterprise business apps in many cases are written using dependent Library Projects

Can you post the ALX file for your application?

I'm developing the applications lars tried to deploy thru BES
installing from DestopManager to devices works well,
all dependencies are recognized correct
each time deploying new the versions were increased, so also updates thru DesktopManager work well
but thats not the solution prefered by my customer ;-)

Nothing jumps out at me as being odd with that ALX file. My only suggestion would be to break this single ALX into multiple ALX files (one for each application).
I am going to move this topic into the BlackBerry Enterprise Solution forum to have the resident BES experts have a look at this one.
