I've just spent several days backing up various BB's and wiping them as the customer was moving from on site BES to hosted exchange and BES. Why is it after I activate and then restore the backup NONE OF THE USER SETTINGs come back!?!?!?!?! Every single phone did this. I used the latest desktop software, no errors, nothing! The backgrounds, fonts, and it would appear BBM contact history VANISHED for example. Full backups including media were chosen each time absolutely! What have I done wrong, if anything?
I'm rockin the BlackBerry DTEK60, Passport, Z30, Z10, Q10, BlackBerry Mini Stereo Speaker, 64 gig PlayBook,BT Headset HS-700

you have to turn off wireless backup on BES prior to doing a wipe, its a security fetaure so users cant steal corporate data
BESAdmin's, please make a signature with your BES environment info.
BES 12 and BES 5.0.4 with Exchange 2010 and SQL 2012 Hyper V
