We're trying to integrate the BB MVS into our PBX Cisco UC520 but we've problems to get a connection with the PBX.
MVS itself is running fine and had distributed the software to BB. I can see on the BB that the registration was send out but could not be processed.
As I'm new on this topic, I tried to get some pointers in the documentations and the web. But the documentation for integrating the MVS with CME is not very helpful. Cisco also don't offer useful information and a support ticket was already opened. At the moment without any success.
Does anybody of you have some helpful pointer or maybe a runing installation to help me out?
I really appreciate your help.

The hardware you're running is supported. The best route of support would be for you to contact your vendor. They would have the information for configuring your Cisco Call Manager Express and ensuring that the version of CCME you're using is supported.

many thanks for your response and excuse my late reply.
I want to try by myself to get the MVS with my UC running. It's like a competition .. I want to win *laugh*.
Anyway, my problem I'm facing now is the configuration of the phone number in MVS config.
My BB is now able to connect and register to my Cisco UC. The strange thing is: if I dial the internal BB number I can see on my BB a call forwarding but the call wouldn't be routet to the BB itself.
My understanding is that I still have a wrong config with the phone numbers.
I would appreciate if you could give my some hints or a short explanation how to configure the phone number on MVS.

That sounds great that you want to do it. I've been there when configuring a PBX. Sometimes it seemed like a competition where it was me versus the machine. Please note that BlackBerry MVS 5.0 is not exactly customer installable; typically, when the software is purchased, the vendor or our Service Delivery Team goes onsite to work with our customer to set up the environment to optimize the efficiency and performance of BlackBerry MVS 5.0.
It sounds like a call routing issue on UC or perhaps a dial pattern issue. If the call to the BlackBerry smartphone is going out through the PSTN to establish a Voice over Mobile call, that's where you want to start.
Here's a link to the app note from Cisco.
This is the CCME 8.1 app note. You may want to check out Cisco's site for more information where needed. After going through the app note, and you're still seeing the same issue, I'd recommend that you log a ticket with us.
There are two ways to open a ticket with us. You may open a ticket with us by:
1. Visiting us at http://www.blackberry.com/besc and filling out the web support form.
2. You may also call us at 1-877-255-2377 (North America) for support.
Please note, if you have a Technical Support Subscription contract with us, you will need a person from the Named Callers list to open the ticket for verification purposes. If you do not have a subscription with us, there are other means of obtaining the support you require.
I hope this information helps. Have a great day.

a while ago since I had time to deal with my issue. Btw, still no success to get my UC connected with MVS. Anyway, had time to think about the problem and get in touch with people in the cisco forum.
The problem is, as you mentioned, a call routing issue and located on the UC side and not on MVS side.

Well, I am having some issues as well with the integration of the UC520. What did you do to resolve the non registering of the clients?
I am thinking the issue is the trunk port not being 6060 but I cant find any documentation on this whatsoever.

in my point of view its not the trunk port. I had a call with a cisco tech and he created a separate client for the BB via command line.
Will have a look if I can find the command somewhere in my documentation.
