Lotus notes and BlackBerry reconciliation problems

Hello everyone,

I've been having issues with my wireless reconciliation from BB to Lotus notes and lotus notes to BB.  I'm using lotus notes 8.0.2 with local replication of my mail file on my laptop.  When i get an email, it comes in on my BB and I receive it in my local copy as well, if i open it from my BB, I go to my local mailfile from my laptop and still shows unread.  And its the same the other way around.  Now to be able to get my read and unread correctly, I have to open my mailfile from the server and just hit F9 or refresh and then I can reconcile correctly.  I've seen some information on creating a local replica for my state file but i think that is more for desktop manager synch!! (Am I right?)

Please help me with this, I don't know what to do?

hmn, ok, so it doesn't appear to be a supported version issue.

Re: Lotus notes and BlackBerry reconciliation problems

Hello Andy,

thank you very much for your help, found the fix in your KB.  I had to make sure that in the mail DB properties, under advance tab that the radion button "replicate unread marks" is set to "all servers".

Now its working perfectly.

thank you once again!

Oh sweet!  Glad it worked for you.  I see so many problems with read/unread mark sync that I'm not too optomistic on getting them fixed first try.  Luck of the Friday I guess!

Re: Lotus notes and BlackBerry reconciliation problems

I found one last issue with this.  We have to manualy reconcile from the BB to make the read unread change.  Is there something I have to redo to make it automatic?

ty in advance
