MDS Integration Services - errors retrieving in data from the server

I am running BES 4.1.7


I am trying to get Microsoft Dynamics CRM Mobile Express working on my BlackBerry 9550.  When I browse to the url https://crm.domain.com/m, I get the error: HTTP Error 401 Unauthorized.  I have the correct CA certificate installed, so that is not an issue.  I do not want to enable Basic Authentication on my CRM's IIS server, so that is not an option for me.


I found somewhere on this forum that enabling Support HTTP Authentication in the MDS Connection Service properties will allow me to authenticate.  I enabled this and I still get the same error.  I read somewhere else that I also need to enable MDS on the device.  The problem is when I select the node http://SERVERNAME.domain.com:7880/mds, I get an error in the right pane: "There are errors in retrieving data from the server. Please refer to the log for more information."


To which log is this referring to?  How can I resolve this issue?  Am I even headed in the right direction toward getting CRM Mobile working on my BB?
