We have a BES 4.1 SP6 server, Exchange 2003 SP2 running IMF v2 and 20 BES users. I'm having a problem with message reconciliation for 1 user. Every now and then a email will be recieved to his hand held that does not appear in his Exchange inbox. Message tracking in exchange shows that the message was recieved ok. I had a thought that this could be a spam filtering problem, but I can find no trace of it in the relevant logs and there are not related errors in the event log. Has anyone come across anything similar as I'm fesh out of ideas?

... A message makes it to his HH but it isn't in his mailbox? Is there a rule setup in Exchange to do something with the message?

Does the message show up in OWA?
If a message makes it to a BB users inbox and it is routed through Exchange connected to BES, it HAS to go through the users mailbox.

I agree, but I can't find it in OWA either. There is no specific reasoning behind this that I can see, it's not related to a specific sender, time of day or such like.
I honestly believe it's a filtering issue, I just can't identify it.

Do you see the message make it to the mailbox through the tracking logs too?
... I'm assuming you can't duplicate it either?
You may need to pull out MFCMapi and attempt to see the message there.
Try saving the message to a different folder within the users mailbox and then try to view it from OWA / Outlook

Yep checked message tracking it reports status as delivered to store, and I cannot duplicate the problem.
I will have a try with MFCMapi
I cannot do any actions with the messsage on the HH as it reports the message is missing from the mailbox.
I'll give MFCMapi a go and post the results.
Thanks for your time so far
