Re: Outlook emails not deleted in HH

If mail is deleted on HH all is well. OWA mirrors the PC (same issue).

Re: Outlook emails not deleted in HH

Done. Seems like the Hard Deletes Reconciliation option is not working, this option is currently started (TRUE) yet the messages are not being "tracked".  I did manage the size. See below.

To change the number of tracked messages

  1. Open BlackBerry Manager.
  2. In the Explorer view, click Server.
  3. On the Server Configuration tab, click Edit Properties, then click Messaging.
  4. In the Performance section, change the value of the Message State Database Size field to the number of messages you want to track for hard delete support (the maximum is 1000).
  5. Restart the BlackBerry Enterprise Server services

Re: Outlook emails not deleted in HH

You could also try performing a reload user on the problem user ... in most cases its effectively the same thing as restarting the BES for a single user.

Re: Outlook emails not deleted in HH

Do you mean reactivate BES for a single user? If so, how is this done? Do I need to "wipe" the HH?

Re: Outlook emails not deleted in HH

No, I mean "Reload User".  Right-click the user in the BlackBerry Manager and select Reload User from the list.  If you look at the users MAGT log you'll see the MAPI threads for the mailbox severed and re-established.

Re: Outlook emails not deleted in HH

could have been stale MAPI connections ... I'd need to see the logs to give you a definitive answer.
